Excellent off angle readership without any color shift, because of our single bin LED technology we have 100% uniformity when viewing the LED screen at different angles up to almost 170 degrees. As a result, the viewing audience has a better looking image for a longer read time.

You will not see a color shift when you drive by a Formetco LED Screen. This is because our Red, Blue, and Green LEDs have the exact same packaging. Most manufacturers have different packaging for their Red, Blue, and Green LEDs; which causes color shift. Over time, Formetco’s LEDs will age at the same rate, providing a better looking LED Screen for a long period of time. Because Formetco uses the same packaging for all of our LEDs, they will age at the same rate.

SINGLE BIN LED SELECTION

Formetco’s F4X digital EMC signs only use LEDs with the same binning for the red, blue and green diodes. This produces an image that remains consistent in color and clarity at extreme viewing angles without unnecessary calibration. Using single binned LEDs is a more expensive way to manufacture EMC signs, but in doing so we know we are offering our customers the highest quality and longest life EMCs on the market.
